Education

Teesside University | Middlesbrough, Cleveland

As a typical teenager at the time, my educational dreams formed into a mixed and varied path. Applying for computer science, astrophysics and space science subjects across the country, I felt a real passion for digital graphics and opted for a varied course, BSc Visualisation, in everything from graphical mathematics to web design digital art and animation.

Graduating from this course left me with a great foundation in many areas of creating digital content and an invaluble sandwich year work placement as a developer in an established (at the time) software house Media Information Ltd.

Returning to build upon these skills was very tempting which led to more artistic direction by completing an MA Computer Animation, again at Teesside, which was a great experience and diversion to the heavy mathematics and technical side of my first degree.

Hind Leys Community College | Shepshed, Leicestershire

Computing was an early passion for me, and completing my A Levels helped plant the seed of my future passion and career. Although art and design are still of great interest to me, my particularly technical choice of Computing, Maths and Physics has provided me a solid foundation for educational and professional life.
